We were very sorry to learn of the death of Daniel Stewart’s former pupil Renton Laidlaw. Renton a renowned golf journalist and broadcaster, who was very proud of his school connections. In recent times, Renton presented the schools with two beautiful quaichs, to be awarded annually to the boy and girl in S1 who best exemplified ESMS values.
