Saturday 14 September saw over 200 ladies gather together at the National Museums Scotland to celebrate 325 years of the Mary Erskine School. We gathered for cake and coffee and a browse of the archives ahead of scheduled tours of the first three homes of MES, in the Cowgate, at Bristo and in Quartermile. Thanks are owed to many, many people for contributing to make the day a success, from everyone who has supplied archives with materials over the years, to our amazing archivist, to the many members of staff current and past who gave up time on the day to offer support and help. More photographs from the day can be seen here.
