On Wednesday 11 September, three of our young pianists were thrilled to have a visit from leading Scottish harpsichordist, John Kitchen, who provided a masterclass followed by an evening recital on our new Erskine Harpsichord which is currently situated in the Dean. The visit would not have been possible were it not for our hard working volunteers in the Thrift Shop and a generous anonymous donor and her partner from The Mary Erskine School, who together enabled the school to purchase the double-manual harpsichord.
