The weekend of the 11 May saw 20 intrepid children from ESMS Junior School and six of their teachers embark on a three day walk along 55 miles of the West Highland Way to raise funds for their chosen charities: The Chesney Trust and Access to Excellence.
The children and their families had been training for six months for this Challenge, and together the children managed to raise £8,500!
Their fundraising efforts will help to change children's lives both in Scotland and in Malawi, where the Chesney Trust plan to purchase a minibus for thr Edinburgh Girls High School in Malawi to make access to towns and medical facilities easier for the girls there.
Very well done to everyone that took part.
