Alumni Associations

Creating life-long opportunities

The SMC Former Pupils' Club and The MES Former Pupils' Guild are voluntary organisations which have represented the interests of their members for many years, providing them with a variety of services and helping them to maintain contact with their school. The office bearers of the Club and Guild work closely with Suzi Squires, the Development Manager, to share resources and offer complementary activities and opportunities for all alumni.

The SMC FP Club concentrates its resources on maintaining links for alumni through affiliated branch clubs across the UK and through a wide range of affiliated sporting clubs based in Edinburgh. The FP Club also shares the management of the Inverleith Clubhouse with the schools and is responsible for its social use through hires and lets. If you would like to find out more you can contact the Club at smcfpclub@esms.org.uk.

The Mary Erskine Former Pupils' Guild focuses its resources on the provision of opportunities for Former Pupils to meet socially or to network, whether based in Edinburgh or further afield. The Guild provides support and opportunities for social interaction for alumni throughout their working lives and into retirement. The Guild also manages branch clubs across the UK as well as affiliated sports’ clubs in Edinburgh. If you would like to get in touch with the Guild you can do so by contacting Sam Roger, the Guild Coordinator, on 0131 347 5722 or at fpguild@esms.org.uk.
